AdultFilmFan: Like many of the performers we’ve met in this series, you had a rather stringent upbringing. You came from a large family and your parents were very strict. How would you describe your childhood?
Lori: I was born and raised in Michigan and have lived here for most of my life. Because there were six children in our household, my parents had to do what they could to maintain order. I was always the quiet one and was extremely shy in social situations. My favorite part about being a kid was spending summers with my grandmother down in Texas when I was younger..
AFF: I was surprised to hear that you were a wallflower back in high school. It’s hard to believe that such a beautiful girl as yourself wasn’t sexually active.
Lori: I guess I was what you’d call a late bloomer. I wasn’t sexual at all as a teenager. As a matter of fact, I didn’t start liking boys until I was about seventeen. I was always too scared to bring guys home to meet my parents. It wasn’t until my senior year that I started dating and not until after graduation that I ended up losing my virginity. But I think you could say that I’ve made up for lost time since then (Laughing).
AFF: After graduation, you decided to attend college as a fashion major before dropping out after the first year. What led you to this decision?
Lori: The reason I left was because I got the opportunity to work in the fashion industry and they had designers there to train me. Funny enough, that was also how I got my first taste of the adult industry. The company I worked for designed sexy exotic dancewear for most of the strippers in the area. I loved the clothes and it offered me a unique exposure to the lifestyle.
AFF: What did your job entail?
Lori: I did a little bit of everything. My favorite part of the job was working as a sales rep. They would send me to trade show conventions and retails stores all around the country. Working there really installed the idea in me that if you put your heart and soul into something, you can make it happen.
AFF: You bought your first computer in January 1999. Less than a year later, you were already performing live across America. How did that come about?
Lori: I was watching “20/20” one night and they had this couple on, talking about how popular their live sex shows were online. I had never thought about doing anything like that before but, for some reason, I was immediately intrigued. Over the next few days, I did some research on the subject and signed up for a site that allowed me to get the ball rolling. It was only a matter of weeks before I was performing for thousands of guys right out of my own bedroom.

Lori: As an entertainer, my number one goal is always to do whatever it takes to keep my members happy. I consider myself very lucky to have a job that I love to do and am always striving to find new ways to make my site that much better.
AFF: It sounds like you have a very close relationship with your members.
Lori: I love to interact with them. We talk all the time on instant messenger or ICQ. One of my favorite things to do is get together with them through one-on-one webcam sessions or phone sex. There is a lot of work involved in running your own adult website. So don’t even consider doing it unless you’re willing to put everything you have into it – it’s definitely a fulltime job.
AFF: What do you like to do for fun when you’re not working?
Lori: My favorite thing to do is travel. I love exploring the different cultures and countries of the world. I also enjoy shopping, dancing, hanging out with friends, and going out to eat. My philosophy is to live each and every day to the fullest and do as much as I can with my life while I’m still young.
AFF: Is there anything else you would still like to accomplish in your life?
Lori: The only thing I would like to accomplish professionally is to keep growing my business each and every year. I am a huge believer in customer satisfaction and will continue to do whatever I can to make my members happy. Nothing is free in life and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to be the best at what I do.
