For “Flight Attendants” Will Ryder has temporarily left the cozy confines of the porn parody gene that’s made him one of adult’s most successful directors for an original scripted comedy. The result is a hilarious — if at times a bit cluttered — adult comedy with a great cast.
An homage of sorts to the camp ’80s movie “Airplane,” Ryder’s movie follows the basic story of two rival airlines pitted against each other. When one airline’s jet crashes, it needs to restore consumer confidence, and thankfully, a good sloppy blowjob more often than not, does the trick. While the jokes are predictable and corny, the sex more than makes up for it.
